I am a Registered Dietitian and have an undeniable passion for health and nutrition. I aspire to promote health, wellbeing, and manage nutrition-related diseases by preventing the progression of a disease and improving or even reversing the health conditions individuals are facing.

  • Manage staffing including assessing the need for new hires, managing advertisements to recruit new hires, reviewing job applications, and interviewing possible candidates

  • Manage monthly scheduling and obtaining coverage when staff call in or request off

Education

  • Complete staff inservices on a variety of topics including how to use new products such as gel thickener, professional communication between staff, proper hand washing techniques, food safety, and HACCP protocols

Patient Care and Services​​

  • Participate in and periodically direct weekly and monthly weight committee meetings with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop updated care plans for patients with significant weight changes or who have no been consuming adequate nutrition

  • Participate in weekly care conferences with the interdisciplinary healthcare team including admission, hospice, quarterly, and annual conferences

  • Complete care planning for residents including new admissions, weight variance, tube feeding, hemodialysis, pressure ulcers, quarterly assessments, and annual assessments
